Mason NH Community Profile & History

Mason, New Hampshire a small middle-of-nowhere town has several places worth visiting. Pickity Place, a cottage built in 1786 houses a restaurant, bookstore, gift shop, garden shop and greenhouse and of course, the Red Riding Hood Museum. The cottage was represented in the book, "Little Red Riding Hood" as the setting for grandmother's house.
