Brunswick, Maine is a town in southwestern Maine. Originally settled along the falls of the Androscoggin River in 1628, the town was incorporated in 1738 and named to honor the House of Brunswick. Home to both Bowdoin College (chartered in 1794) and the Naval Air Station, Brunswick has a diverse population employed in a wide range of industries.
